A 39-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her mother who was found stabbed to death.
The body of the victim, in her 60s, was found in Queensland Road, in the Pokesdown area of Bournemouth, Dorset, on Wednesday afternoon by paramedics.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later.
Dorset Police said the woman had been arrested in connection with the incident and they were not looking for anyone else.
